Description

The BJJ MMA Judo Mats are great for BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) & MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) training, where there is a lot of groundwork and skin contact with the mat,  because they have a smooth low friction surface with excellent grip.

Due to the strength  of the top surface they are also ideal for training with heavy footwear, weapons and riot gear.

Their durability is suited for very high usage dojos / academies / training venues that train all day everyday.

Sizes can be made to order, so mats can fit wall to wall, but it is often best to order full size and cut them to suit. They can be cut straight through, or cut through the back to the top surface and the excess pvc overlapped down the side and onto the underneath to make it a complete mat again. Please ask for the video on how to do this.

They are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 12503:2013 Sports Mats, Judo Mats, Safety Requirements, Shock Absorption, Base Friction, Top Friction, Static Stiffness.

They are flame retardant and independently tested to BS 1892-3: 2003 “ HIGH HAZARD” Classification.

The Pro BJJ MMA Judo Mats have 230kg/m3 (14lb) density foam, the Olympic BJJ MM Judo Mats have 270kg/m2 (17lb) density foam.
Most applications require the 230kg/m3 very firm density, the 270kg/m3 is quite hard and more for specialist training / international judo competitions.
